I swapped out my 18lb recoil spring with a 15lb one. Zero issues with bulk range 115gr ammo.
Were you running a comp? My gun was fine with the 18lb factory spring, but adding a comp is what started all the problems.

Also, Brownells is selling the frames for $110 each shipped after coupon, so I've gone ahead and bought a 940v2 and a 940SC... the 940SC is more aspirational, given the state of the G26 after-market.

    No comp.

No way I was paying $40 for an RMR cover, so a couple hours in OpenSCAD later, I had something at literally 1/100 of the price (not including my time, to be fair). Aesthetics could still use some tweaks to more closely follow the slide lines, but it's reasonable as is.

Super pleased to report that a 15lb recoil spring seems to have solved my problems with my P80C's cycling. 13lbs wasn't enough, 17lbs was too much... 15lbs was just right. Didn't have to change out the striker springs either, thank G-d. The comp makes a very noticeable difference - I can rapid-fire more easily, but it pushes down the muzzle more than I'm used to.

I’ve also done a couple with 22 conversions
A lot of fun when at the range

I actually dig the robin egg blue frame! Nice work! I tried to buy the white frame but they were all out

Which 22 conversion did you use, and how well do they work? Thinking about one, but have not found any reports on them.
I am also interested in this. I have been shooting more and more lately, but the cost of all that 9mm is adding up pretty quick.

Overall, a really fun project. I still need to swap out the rear sight. Hope to test fire and see if it actually functions this afternoon. Could go from fun to headache in a hurry :D

Finally got them running properly now. Just needed a little more sanding and polishing.
1st timing using a red dot on a pistol and I must say I love it ! Once you get used to it it’s definitely easier for follow up shots

A few weeks ago, I shot a G19 with an Advantage Arms kit - it ran perfectly, no problems at all. With the AA upper, the pistol felt lighter than the 9mm upper alone. Great fun, and a great trainer pistol.
