The convoy C8 sells for $15 to $20 at amazon and other places. It has been out for a couple of years, and has been upgraded several times. The current incarnation is crazy bright and really sends a nice beam out at a distance too. It puts out at least 900 real lumens (as opposed to 3000 fake lumens!)
It has a good glass lens too.
