I picked this up from MDeng's private collector. Thanks to Yellowsled for his help with it. 
This was perfect timing as a Nagant revolver was next on my list. I still don't know much about them though. The serial number is 54480. There's a sideways 'P' on the right side of the barrel. The grips are in really nice shape. Is that lanyard original? What makes this a Soldier's Model? Any info you can provide is much appreciated.
