NY lawyer sounded to me like she didnt know what she was talking about ans even the liberal justices were ripping her a new one!

We are winning this one. Just am a little worried how the opinion will be written though.

Based on the composition of SCOTUS, I think we have a better chance than we did with the appeals court in 2013. I thought our side had strong arguments then, but the court did not.

I still remember the MD AG Gansler saying we didn't need concealed carry since we had long gun open carry.

Unpossible. The same 4-5 people will continue to litigate this case until then.

I agree that we're going to win.

I do believe, however, that the opinion will be stronger if Roberts votes against us and Thomas writes the majority holding.

So-called good cause permitting schemes are on their last legs. This decision will finally force MD to start issuing unrestricted W&C permits to ordinary citizens. The only question in my mind is what hoops will be added by the legislature. I expect a steep increase in the cost of the permit and an increase in the amount of training required. I also expect nearly every location to be declared a sensitive location to include banks, public transportation and all entertainment venues.
