I generally don't use my MEC very much. I got a deal for ITX BB's from Ballistic products. Holy hell, everytime I tried to drop 1 3/8oz with mec jr, it would bind up. I ended up manually wieghing each load and using the mec jr for crimping only.

Is this normal for large shot like BB's? I usually just load #5's chilled lead, without much issue. I use a mult scale bar. I even tried a lead bar without luck.

Not surprised, the shot drop tube is too narrow to let them flow and they ‘bridge’in it. I have the same problem on shot larger than 6 in a 410 loader. Maybe the tube for steel shot would work? I’m only loading lead for clays and dove

Isnt it worth $15 to save the aggravation?? Its a one time purchase and you've already bought shot. You posted the same question over on shotgun world forum and got some good answers there a day before posting here

Why do you care that I posted on shotgun world? Is it not allowed? Sorry, I don't live and die by the internet and email like some. I don't sit there and birddog every forum like you. I actually duck hunt, and a lot.

You ought to get out and hunt sometime, instead of keeping track of everyone's post. Just sayin, your milage may vary.

and for the record I posted here on Dec. 17 at 9:48AM since you are worried so much. I posted there on Dec. 17 at 12:22. since I was not getting many responses here. Instead of worrying about what folks are posting, why not help?
