We need to put an all out rush on several delegates.

Delegate Adelaide C. Eckardt, in Wicomico County is one. If you are in Delegate Eckart's district, we need you to call or visit her office immediately. The sooner the better.

This district is the home of LWRC and the district will lose $120 million and 300 jobs if SB 281 is passed. LWRC has said they can't live with a 'manufacturer's exemption' because legally it might not work. Their product is also being banned, so that hurts their sales.

Call her office and visit if you can, especially if this is your district, and ask her to oppose SB 281. Pass this on to anyone you know that is in her district. We are making a difference!

Curious about why we are going after Delegate Eckardt? I see her listed as sitting on the Appropriations committee. I thought the effort was still concentrating on Judiciary and Health and Gov't Ops.

Has Eckhardt come out against SB281 publicly?

She stands to lose a company that creates jobs. Not to mention the tax revenue that will be lost from the delegates district.

She has value because of what her district stands to lose. If she decides to vote against it, she can help convince others.

Completely agree. Folks, just because you see a positive report about a delegate doesn't mean you shouldn't also call. Call everyone. Twice.

Then go to annapolis tomorrow at 11:30am and visit in person with me and some of your fellow MDS'rs
