Does the Board ever actually reject anything???

    Yes, not alot, but yes.

For example within these minutes, several of the NAA revolvers were denied as they do not have a trigger guard.

Also, they will table a submission as it does not currently meet the "safety" requirements and allow it to be modified to meet the standard.

Bond Arms Derringers now have a Removable Trigger Guard (Not sure if all of or just some models?) to make them MD legal.

They've rejected other guns that failed to go through a course of fire without jamming multiple times, the manufacturer is asked to submit a repaired firearm and new ammo for retesting.

I think they have also requested a retest on at least one pistol because they were keyholing with the supplied ammo.

But otherwise, the standard is currently asking the lines of "will this harm the average consumer?"

I've been eyeing one of the charter arms revolvers on this list and it seemed to have been tabled. Does anyone have any experience on a typical turn around time for a re-review once the deficiencies have been corrected?

Wasn't there a Glock model that was rejected a few years back until it was improved? Turns out the MD Roster can actually be a good thing for the consumer.

Typically it would move to the next meeting in June.
