Great thread on why you dont take advice from the internet regardless of how many post someone has.

If someone says this is legal, and you dont do your own research, you could end up fighting it in court. Poor guy had Hornady CD. Earlier in the thread it was said it was legal, and it probably is, but later in the thread it was pointed out a person was thrown in jail and his Hornady CD caught him an extra charge.

The point being: Hornady is legal, but the laws in NJ are so confusing even many local NJ offices dont know.

It doesn't make blaster's advice wrong. He's 100% right that the plugged HP loads are legal in NJ. It makes the law enforcement that dicked that security guard over wrong.

My only point was, a little context is a huge help when making a pointed statement. Don't leave anyone guessing what or whom you are taking about. ;)

And before the were Critical D's , PowerBall, and later EFMJ ( later renamed Guard Dog ) were listed as explicitly legal

NJ will deliberately arrest and prosecute people for things they know aren't illegal . A certain % will take a plea instead of spending $$$ on legal fees . Or drop charges just before trial , after the victims have spent $$$ on lawyers and bondsmen , and possibly jacked up with their employers . The harassment is delibert to chill people from exercising what little rights they h a ve left .
