After some googling, I think I have it all figured out but I wanted to fact check myself before I shoot it all...
Milsurp Headstamps: (all '54 or newer)
30-06 ball (m2?): TW 54
Lc 65 MATCH (is this 30-06?)*
FA 59 MATCH (is this 30-06?)* The brass shell on the match rounds is ~1-2mm longer than my other 30-06
.45 ball: WRA 68 and WCC 69
Loose commercial head stamps: (I assume all the commercial ones are non-corrosive)
30-06:
W-W super 30-06 sprg
.270
W-W super 270 WIN
A lot of the loose 270 has thick sticky green oxidation, just wipe it off and good to go?
I plan to shoot all of this out of the following:
30-06: Remington 700, and maybe springfield 1903
.270: Out of a sporter mauser 98 (not military)
.45: Rem rand m1911 bastard of a gun.
