    Hello,
I purchased the Surge 762 and Obsidian, the jail sentence should be ending this month for the surge.

Thanks for that info. Let us know when you get the Surge!

I've got a YHM Phantom 762 LTA in jail now. While most agree the QD brakes(2) leave much to be desired, that was not a concern to me as it will be semi-permanently residing on my 10.5'' 300 AAC with the possibility of hopping onto a 6.5 in the future maybe.

I have been enjoying the Omega. When I bought mine, I was able to get another muzzle device if I registered it on their site. I received the free shirt but not the additional free break. A couple emails and I had a 30 cal trifecta mount in a week. Very good service.

I can see the concern for the thread on qd. I haven't had issues as of yet but understand the concern.

Lot of good cans on the market these days.

Is there something internal in there that locks the mount to the tube then? I understand how it locks the mount to the brake.

I misspoke. I forgot that the can threads onto the brake first and is then locked, disregard what I said. What'll happen is you might carbon lock the brake to the module and then the can will come off without the module...super annoying IMO.

    THUNDER BEAST.

Used to be the CB series, now the Ultra series.

Good mounting system, not true QD, but brake mount, which is fairly quick, and NO POI SHIFT.
