It's that time of year, new possible laws being discussed in Annapolis and many complaining. I truly believe the side of the lawful gun owner is never heard, it just doesn't seem like a big enough issue or concern for anyone to listen to. You know what I would live to see? EVERYONE get involved.

For example What would happen if a couple thousand people applied for a permit for self defense purposes? Yea it might be an expensive proposition for some, but how much are your rights worth? If suddenly thousands or denials were on record, and evidence was present a large majority of residents wanted shall issue who couldn't get it, wonder how it would sway decision makers.

Or we can sit on our couch and just complain. I'm not saying we all run for office, or we do anything crazy, but do something. I personally will jump through whatever hoops to protect my family.

Well a bunch of us did a few years back after a nice judge said it was our right, then a bunch of nasty judges said so sad too bad over ruled.
