    A New Jersey legislator (Sen. Nilsa Cruz-Perez) has introduced Senate Bill 3541, which would ban all hunting contests, including things like hunt tests and field trials. No doubt a case of total ignorance about these activities, but would come with the extra spice of further smacking down the sorts of activities the remaining three or four gun owners in NJ might own a gun to do.

    Seems like the sort of thing we should expect a Maryland rep to run with next time around. Because if it makes us redneck hillbilly animal killers unhappy, it must be a good thing.

    Well, I wonder if the AKC, the parent breed clubs, and the individual local breed clubs will try to do any testifying or contacting of representatives.
