I saw where there is a drawing for a LWRC 18” ICA5 DMR Upper. I am assuming that because it is a piston upper it is still legal in Maryland. Is this correct?

MDSP has determined that LWRCI M6 are heavy barrels and are therefore not banned. They didn't comment at all regarding the fact that LWRCIs are all piston driven and should be not banned based on that fact as according to their rules regarding copy cat weapons.

I took delivery of another LWRCI M6 IC ENHANCED a couple of months ago. Is this your first LWRCI product?

Actually, MSP is playing games with piston driven ARs, since Colt no makes a piston driven AR. It now must be proven to MSP that said piston AR is not a copy and does not share all of the same parts as the Colt piston AR.

I was actually going to sign up for the drawing to win one.
I just wanted to make sure if I got lucky and won it, I could actually take possession of it. Thanks for the replies.

    Not a problem PALYDIN11.

LWRCI makes some really high quality rifles. If you got the coins it would be a good purchase of a very reliable and bad ass piston rifle.

Yes, I have only heard good things about their products. I did purchase one of their enhanced lower parts kits. I installed the kit in a spikes lower. Its attached to BCM mid-length upper.
