    Greetings from Bowie! I learned of this site while I was researching how to buy a handgun in Maryland. I’m originally from Michigan and had a carry permit while I lived there. I am quite surprised of Maryland’s process to even purchase a handgun. Even more surprised at the wear and carry process. Anyway, Maryland is my home now so I guess complaining doesn’t do me any good! I’m looking to continue learning more about Maryland’s laws. I’m also very interested in building an AR pistol for home defense. Just gotta make sure it’s legal in Maryland!!

    Welcome from MoCo! Rules for an AR pistol are pretty straightforward, not much different from other states. Use the search function there’s plenty of threads on them here.
