Anybody have a source for mostly generic rubber caps to fit over various sizes of handgun magazines? I'm looking for something to keep dust, etc. out in case I want to toss a mag into a bag or pocket, nothing fancy.

Well, there is the classic yes. Thank you adit. 8-)

Good points though, a pack of small balloons would cost a couple of bucks and do just fine. Duh. Me think gud, big brain time!

I think the balloons would be too tight unless you cut the openings off, and condoms would look too much like condoms.

How about nitrile or latex gloves? Cut the fingers & thumbs off and you get 5 mag 'condoms' per glove.

Hmm. Have a box or two of those around, I may just try that idea.

Condoms have such a long history of use to protect rifle barrels, magazines, etc., though - it's a Marine Corps tradition (and Army, I know) going back at least to WW2.

Yup, I'm aware. In the field it makes sense, but would feel odd to pull one out of my pocket or a range bag like that, though.
