There is a Buds Gun Shop and Smokey Mt Knife works in Sevierville, TN. There are some others as well.

I am sure there is either a Bass Pro or Cabellas in Bristol as well as the Gatlinburg area.

Whether any of them will sell a firearm to somebody from MD is another question.

I bet they would sell longs guns to a MD resident. As for pistols or any so-called assault rifles, most certainly not.

My friend, you'd lose that bet, I do believe.

My youngest son (now 25) and I went into Bud's (May, 2018), and he was starting the paperwork on a beautiful Remington 700 in .308, and when the sales guy saw Brad's driver's license had "Maryland" on it, he said that he couldn't sell him the rifle.

They wouldn't sell me a can of ammo, since I'm a Maryland resident.

Two different people in the store said that their lawyers didn't want to take any chances, selling to Maryland residents.

Ammo I see no problem but since Tn isn't a bordering state..... Besides their retail prices were insanely stupid. I'd rather spend my bucks at some of the great local restaurants and the muscle car museum in Sevierville you were talking about. They also had a so so aviation museum that was a time killer that was worth it once.
