Thread locker for gas block set screws?

    Or just find a friend with a drill press and install a taper pin. Now that I've learned how to do it, I don't see ever going back to set screws. Taper pins and reamers are pretty cheap.

    That friend should have a bore scope as well.

    I know a few people that have the tools to do it. For this particular rifle, it's a range toy so not concerned about it. I agree that is the best solution though.

    You better be sure he is 100% confident in his skills that would be a pretty expensive oopsie.

    I used some blue I had laying around on a recent build we’ll see how it does. Some say they’ve used nothing and never had a problem. If that fails then Rocksett it is.

    What do you call Blue Loctite on something that gets hot?

    Lubricant. :D
