I have now installed the CST automatic bolt stop in my new rifle.

That was a bit of a job, and my first foray into bubba-smithing. The kit was definitely not a drop-in installation for the Zimmerman receiver. After installing it I could barely even pull the bolt back. Perhaps it is is a drop-in on a Ruger receiver. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, since the kit is nicely made. I had to do some work on the bolt and the new parts to get it all to work right. Now it is perfect as far as I can tell without having fired real ammo. Modifying the magazines was easy, as I had predicted. I now have 3 that work with this setup.
here are some photos from the installation.
This is the entire kit (without the included magazine)
This is where the bolt lock was rubbing the bolt, and you can also see it was right on the edge of the spot on the bolt where it needed to make contact.
This is the bolt after milling out a little more contact area for the bolt lock
Here is some grinding on the bolt lock to make it flush with the trigger group housing so the bolt slides over it without interference.
I also had to mill out the pocket (not visible) on the bolt lock where the pin attaching the trigger group to the receiver goes through.
Here is the CST modified magazine, and one of my non modified mags
Here is on of my non modified mags ready for alteration.
A close-up of a mag under the knife!
Two, "Joe's shop" modified mags and one CST modified mag
Here is a view of the ejector sensing no cartridge in the mag

I am quite happy with the kit now that it works as advertised. Hopefully for the Ruger receivers it is a simple drop in. For the Zimmerman it was a 6hr job for a hack. All said and done it was a fun learning experience.
Hope someone finds this useful.
