Have a Savage that shoots great, but been noticing a lot of misfires. The percentage seems to grow every time I take it out. Also noticed that I am not seeing any primer strikes on the ones that are misfired. Thoughts

If you remove your bolt and shake it, does the FP clank audibly? If not, it's crudded up. Mine did the exact same thing, it had picked up oil and debris from inside the receiver. Pop off the spring clip, making note of which is extractor is left and which is right. They are different but actually color coded black and silver.
