Best price I could ever find was on bladehq, $165 shipped => http://www.bladehq.com/item--Svord-NKT-Ned-Kelly-Toothpick--19215

They also make a double-edged version (Hog Beater) but it is a little smaller, thinner and lighter. Their bowie is nice, too, but I wanted a real beast.

I plan on doing some cutting with it to test after a good leather / polishing compound stropping to make it even keener than it already is.

Going through the collection and came across these old ones from my childhood. I had a Tekna Hidden Edge I bought in the early 80's but sold a while back. These will never be sold. All three were responsible for my love of blades that has carried on several decades later.

Ulster ULSC4G, BSA #1996 Boy Scout Knife bade from 1962-1979
Kershaw 1060 Black Horse (made in Japan) from the early-mid 80's.

16th Birthday present. Back when ivory was available! My Dad had it made for me by a local artisan.

Your a lucky guy, That's a nice one, wish I had the knife my father had, I remember a big Bowie with a 12 inch blade and stag handle sharp as a razor but we all remember things bigger and better then their were. That is what time does makes our memory's of the past fill our wants and desires. Thanks for sharing

    Thats a nice knife

The set screw that holds the bad in place looks tiny though. Is it a pain to change the blade?

Thank you. The set screw is tiny but it's easy to change. I think it needs a number 3 Phillips head screwdriver.

Mail lady brought this today. Needed to christen the new tackle box with a good knife. Beautifully crafted. Very solid lockup.
