    what brand do you use?

I like the idea of the spring mechanics in the Tipton brand, but is there a better alternative?

    Thanks,

I use fired shells with pieces of mechanical pencil erasers in the primer hole. They work just fine.

I don't know where you can get the small erasers anymore. I have a supply left over from years past.

I use Tipton's but A-Zoom would be okay in a revolver. I do not recommend the A-Zooms in semi-autos because the get damaged by extractors and leave aluminum chips behind sometimes.

Like John from MD does. Hard rubber erasers in the primer pocket of cases. Cheaper than buying 5 or 6 or 9 or ?. Don't need a fake bullet profile in a revolver unless you are practicing speed loads.

A Zooms but I also have some cases that I've sized and filled the case and primer pocket with hot glue. Let them sit for a few weeks and they work fine as dummy rounds.

    Where they send me.
I've been making dummy rounds and "snap caps" lately from brass I have on hand. Drill a hole through them to make sure I don't get them confused, seat a bullet (if needed) and hot glue in the primer but many other things will work.

Good option if you're a reloader and have odd caliber things.
