Uber in Carroll County?

Does Uber service exist in Carroll County? If so has anyone used it?

I looked at their website and you can request a fair quote, but I saw no cities listed on their website, so I wasn't sure if they are most places, or only bigger cities.

Down load their app... open the map and you can watch the little cars moving around the region. It's actually quite entertaining.

Does the Uber app only work with smartphones? My neighbor has a tablet that can download apps, but does not have a smartphone.

I have used Uber in downtown Westminster and to get to a "certain" club in littlestown.

Arrival times are slow as there isn't many in the area, but it works.

Did you / could you call the same day?

My wife sometimes uses Carroll cab, buts she always has to schedule a day ahead of time (though she does like to have the same guy show up each time).
