I just saw this and as a Beretta 92 fan, I must have this. As much as I love the 92, it has flaws. To me, this model fixed most of them. Thoughts?

This is what the Beretta should have always been. I'm not crazy about the set screw for the trigger, but otherwise this gun is awesome.

I like the looks of that. I wonder if they offer a regular sized mag release?

I never could get used to that damn slide mounted safety. I always wondered what the hell they were thinking, doing that.

Didn't the Taurus PT-92 have a frame mounted safety?

Taurus’ PT92 started with a slide mounted safety then moved to a frame mounted. Beretta should have done the same long ago.

I was going to say that it's about time Beretta learned from Taurus where to put the safety :D

I guess now I'll finally buy a Beretta

Beretta had the frame mounted safety in the 50s. The 93R also had a frame mounted safety. With the gun going thru its revolution it eventually made it's way to the slide in the model "S" the rest is history. I personally like the safety in the slide. Personal preference.

Just saw this. I had to put my trusty old 92 in the other room while I watched the video so it wouldn't get upset.

Your web link is not a US website. On Beretta’s US site that gun is not listed. Don’t get your hopes up fellas. Doesn’t seem to be available, at least not yet.

They are listing some really cool looking color combos for the M9A3 though. Green/Black, Black/Green, Black/Grey, FDE/Black. No 92X, at least that I found.
