I don't understand why. What's in it for him? Is he a bored liquor store owner with millions to spend? He should go take flying lessons or something.

It's about control. He wants control of something he doesn't have now.

    Plain and simple.

Lets see, if he's elected that makes at least 2 liquor store owners in the MGA.

    Kinda fitting.

Trone is the same pandering, anti-gun, radical leftist mo-fo, as he was when he ran for the 8th District. He knows, with the certainty and sanctimony of Martin O'Malley, what's good for everyone else, far better than we do.

    What a pos.

Any time your left of O’Malley and obozo your a fvcking lunatic. Anal and testicular cancer are too good for that cockroach but one can wish....

There is a 'liquor racket' here.

Always has been, but it has gotten worse in recent years.

Yes, the licensing fiasco has been there for years, but more recently there is a further financial aspect.

The person at the crux of it isn't one you would normally expect. We know Miller is a big player, but even his roots didn't run deep enough.

There was a crapload of research done here several years ago by myself and a couple others, where the graft in taxing alcohol was exposed.

    The extra 3% tax
    The Developmental Disabilities Administration
    The DHMH
    Jon Cardin (yes... THOSE Cardins)
    Medicare/Medicaid billing fraud
    Low-interest loans to political cronies

Few here seemed interested in bringing it down, and due to other exigencies it wasn't pursued further.

Now, with Miller looking to undo the minor gains for micro-breweries from last year (and making no secret of it)............
