    Hello,
I installed a Vortex Viper on my Ruger MKIV 22/45 Lite and I can't seem to get a good fit.
The mount appears to fit the rail but I can still wiggle it a little when it's tightened down all the way.

Has anyone here had this issue before?
    Any tips?

    Thanks in advance! :)

    Sight to base, tight.
    Base to Rail, tight.
    Rail to pistol, tight.

If those options are checked and good, then I am out of ideas. Maybe debris in the grooves of the sight base?

Well, I broke it down and it turned out to be rail to pistol. :o
It wiggled so ever-so-slightly that it was really difficult to tell where it was coming from. I used Loctite on everything but I guess the massive recoil from the .22lr shook everything loose. :D

    Thanks for the help!

Never trust the factory to install a rail or scope base properly. I always take it apart, clean, and reinstall with a torque wrench and blue Loc-Tite. I've found several loose or stripped screws that way.

Looks like you got your answer but I have a question. What Grip is that? Can you post a link?
