I don't think it would over penetrate. Its so light I think it will dump all its energy in about the first 10 inches and stop.

I was wrong. I just looked at a video and the rounds zipped right through a block of gel. They didn't expand at all. Not sure how useful they would be for self defense since there is very little in the way of a wound channel/cavity. With so little weight I wonder what will happen if they hit bone

I have used it in several guns and found it to shoot too low and left in my P3AT and S&W Chief's Special. In the P9 and M&P 40 it was spot on. I liked the concept but went with a similar round made by Underwood. Underwood uses pure copper and they shoot to POA in my short barrel pistols. They also have loads in 65 and 90 gns either standard velocity or +P. I have shot them in water jugs and I was happy with the results.

I don't know what I would do with it. Flatter shooting would be nice for certain small game/varmints but need to know it shoots well and accurate and at $1/rd not sure I want to burn that money re-sighting things in.

For defense the 125gr SJHP in .357 is the one all others chase after and want to be (.357 SIG was built to be just that in an auto) so I don't see it replacing that in my line up. It is often rated at 98% one shot stops so unless this new round is a perfect 100% (which I highly doubt) I don't see me getting into it.

Maybe in certain calibers (none come to mind though) it could make sense or if it was cheap plinking ammo I would get some.

I'm a sucker for oddball ammo so ordered some. Will join a container with rounds from Lehigh, Underwood (extreme defender/penetrator), Liberty, etc.Name: IMG_20180821_214421~2.jpg
