I've got an LR308 in a 16" barrel...its been pretty accurate at 100yds and 200yds (shooting over at Hap Baker)...and I'm definitely not that great of a shot. Picked it up a year ago for $1350 cash and carry at The Nation's Gun Show (before all the madness began). I've been real happy with mine but I wouldn't go and pay over $1700 for one tho...

In the market for an AR-10. Seems to be good availability of DPMS, I have heard some not so great things. Does anyone have any experience with DPMS or insight ?

I've built several uppers using nothing, but DPMS parts. I've had no problems at all. Fit and finish are great and the price is right too.

But then again, all I hunt with are H&R Handi's and Shotguns. Dead Bambi is dead Bambi in my book.

I've always believed it's the person behind the gun that counts because most guns can out shoot it's owner.

    Have fun.
