    Mosins ROCK! The best buy in terms of price, ammo price and availability, as well as FUN!
    The Russian 7.62-54R is so close to .308/7.62 nato that rangefinding scopes for either will work for the other - out to 400yards or more.

    Mosin sights are in yards for the 91-30, M38 and M-44. The ones OLDER than 91-30 that have not been upgraded to 91-30 are in ashins.

    Whats the difference between an arshin and a cubit? Hand

    an arshine is 71cm
    hand is 4"
    cubit is tip o' the finger to base of elbow, and therefore subjective

    it would be nice if we still used stones for weight though. sounds cool to say you weigh 12 stone.
