    Look at the size of that monster! Cooler temps and they popped right up.
    I heard hinds can go as long as 20 years in some cases, not sure about the stags.
    I never seen one so heavy, I bet it's pretty old.

    First deer I've ever seen in danger of losing a foot. Looks like he carries glucose test strips.

    Actual deer bacon on that one, which of course is a bucket list item. My approach to get him out during the day would be to put out a feeder dumping doughnuts every day at 10 min before sunrise.

    Its about a 5-600 yard march down a water trail to where he lives then turn left.
    After about 130 or so it goes from 3' in spots down to about 12" in other areas and even less in some locations.
    Bottom is hard so its not a lot of muck to slip on. It's a pain to get back in there but a lot of deer/ducks live back there.
