    In case someone is wondering what this is about without first having to go off and watch a video: it's not about Southwest Airlines, or any particular birds of prey common to Maryland, or large mosquitos, killer bees, white faced hornets, or anything else. It's about the A-10. Not sure why it's a "Central Maryland" topic, though. The MD ANG does have some, so maybe that's the connection?

    If you knew your Maryland and A-10 history, you would know that the birthplace of the GAU-30 was Hunt Valley, Maryland and the birthplace of the A-10 is Hagerstown, Maryland

    So show some respect to BigCity in celebrating Central Maryland as the Birthplace of the greatest Flying Gun that spells FREEDOM one "BBBRRRAAAAPPPPTTTT" at a time.

    Now Drop and give BigCity 20 ! Then 1 more for the A10, 1 for the 175th MD Air Guard and 1 for Hagerstown

    I see two A10's or more flying over southern maryland almost every day. I wonder who else has them besides the ANG?

    I see them often flying over my house on approach to Martins.
    Low and slow enough I can hear the whine of the hydraulics. They always take off and land In Pairs from what I see from the house.
    Love watching them fly over
