lefties are feeling "emboldened" ,, better strap in for the next 4-50 years

Not in Florida. GOP has over 60% of both houses PLUS Governor DeSantis. They should be able to move good legislation as long as there's no Rhino committee chairs or Senate/House leaders who tank it.

Several other states should be able to get good stuff through as well. The Dems didn't do well in the last election except a select few places.

That Soro's and Bloomberg money only goes so far,, had to spend it where it did the most damage.

I love it when the idiots list all the firearms to be banned by name, then give a definition of the banned type of firearm which includes all the previously listed firearms. The same with listing 90 pages of firearms that are NOT banned because they don't meet the definition of a banned firearm. Well, Duh! That way they can point and say "Yes, we banned a few firearms, but, look at the thousands of firearms we didn't ban". Like we should be grateful for anything that wasn't banned.

Reading over the proposed law, the basic definition is that an assault weapon is a semi-auto with a detachable magazine plus any one special feature like pistol grip, flash suppressor, bayonet mount, etc. It would ban any semi-auto pistol/rifle with a fixed magazine over 10 rounds. No exceptions for tube fed 22's. Any semi-auto with a detachable magazine and a bayonet mount. There goes the M1 Garand and M1 Carbine. The M1 enbloc clip meets the definition of a detachable magazine.
