I just bought a 10 round magazine for it from Gunmag Warehouse..... total JUNK! Very tight getting in and literally needed visegrips to get out. They sent me 1st class postage return (they actually wanted it back) in order to get refund.
VERY pleased I didn't bugger up my rifle but it's evident chinese SHIT doesn't fit in a close tolerance target rifle.

Nice rifle, love Winchester 52's. These modern magazines are the best for the vintage Winchesters but they are 5 round and out of stock right now,

Original Winchester 10 round mags are out there but quite pricy, easily over 100 bucks.

I spied that baby but, I have a Kimber All America purchased right (literally weeks) before Gov Schaefer prohibited “civilians” from using the Natl Guard Armory indoor ranges which has never been fired and so didn’t pursue whether that 52’s seller would ship to my FFL
(There is at least one pistol on the MDS Classifieds boards I’d likely buy now but seller says “no shipping” which I can understand; I have a Ruger 12ga Woodside and a Ruger 28ga Red Label up for sale here locally and both of which I’d rather not ship.)
OP, check RimfireCentral.com for OEM mags - if no members there have any for sale there are at least several members who will likely know where you can obtain them.

I have a 5 round original but it's getting a bit long in the tooth meaning weak spring. It wont chamber the 5th round and I do NOT want to accidentally dry fire this weapon.
That's why I want a shooter mag that works 100% of the time. I guess you get what you pay for, the gun mag warehouse for 35 dollars place isn't for precision.

I think it was Winchester 52s that we shot for college rifle team. ROTC had a range and supplied the rifles and the ammo and gear.

That's a beautiful rifle.
In your hunt for magazines keep an eye out for ones with a big "W" stamped on the bottom. They are made by Wisner here in the USA and are a perfect substitute for OEM Winchester magazines. I have bought four of them in the last couple years for my 52 and a friend's 69 (which uses the same magazine as the 52 and 75). If not found in "normal" venues, they turn up all the time on eBay.
