After seeing this, I had to get the Hard Charger.

    We're not done yet!

How about a side charging handle for your AR 15? Devil Dog Concepts Hard Charger isn't a bolt on gimmick. This thing is legit

I just installed it onto my BCM upper (Engage billet lower). The Hard Charger has a quality look and construction. It's got a sturdy feel and smooth pull. I'm liking it!

I did check my red dot on it as well. I had to move the hard charger out of the way to install the red dot, then put the hard charger back on. It took about a minute or so plus allen wrench (included). So, adding the hard charger sort of takes the quick out of QD optics. As long as your red dot co-witnesses with your irons, you should be good in a crunch if the battery goes at the wrong moment.

We should encourage this type of innovation within the community; especially a small business like this in one of the unfriendliest 2A states (NY).

    $146/free shipping.

I bet once they sell more and take care of the initial design and production costs, it will go below $100. I showed it to a friend today, and he liked it as well.

It feels like it is an integral part of the upper. That's how sturdy it is.

I love the idea of it. I'm just concerned about torquing the CH. It would have to be just super solid. I'd like to see some reviews once it disseminates a little. Definitely something to watch.
