As well as the politicians who refuse to step in and reform the court system throughout the entire state. There needs to be some very strict guidelines concerning when bail and home detention cannot be used, as well as mandatory minimum sentences and plea deals..as in when the state's case is overwhelmingly strong, no plea should be needed...

How many times has this happened in the last decade. Houses burned down with witnesses inside, people shot, and on and on.
How much did the judge and DA get paid to let these people go. This has happened a number of times over the last several years as we move forward to becoming Chicago. This has to go way beyond incompetence.
Where are the people marching in the streets with their ***** hats and black bandannas. Where is Al Sharpton and Obama? Where is Elijah E. Cummings? Where is the mayor? If only they could blame Trump for this, they would be marching up and down the street with cameras hanging onto their every word.
What is the going price for releasing these animals back into society?

Imagine if you will her name having been kept secret until after she testified. I wonder if this would have still happened as payback. Given all this , what will it take to protect anyone who wants to do the right thing and then get everyone else on board in order to make a change?

Legal mandatory action way overdue
there should be civil and criminal penalties/punishment for law enforcement and legal system players to include attorney's states attorney, and all judges in cases where they basically are the cause or catalysts to retaliatory actions, in the midst of interaction with the public or negative consequences/actions taken/suffered as a result of their decisions that were clearly wrong.
their penalties should be severe enough to frighten those wimpy idiots into doing at least the basics correctly.
