    Am I nuts, or are all the manufacturers considering G19/G17 slides to be the gold mine dujour? Somebody will invent a jig, vise fixture, and end mill to let you customize your current slide using a few patterns. And recoat it reasonably when machining is done. I'm seeing some complete slides for $800.

    Check GlockStore. Last I saw, they had complete Glock OEM G17-G35 slides from 450-550.

    If one were to look for a high end market in handgun accessories they would be better off with Glock than Hi-Point.
