Just picked up my Gen 5 G34 MOS and was installing the mounting plate for my Trijicon RMR.

Not sure why, but the screws that came with the sight plate seem to be 1 or 2 threads short (kinda like me, LOL); they almost tighten up but then slip. The longer screws are a bit too long. With the sight off the screws work fine.

Any ideas about where to source the tiny screws (listed as 6-32 UNC, they measure .29, or 19/64)? I'm guessing a .31 or .32 (21/64 or 22/64) length should do the trick. I'd like to try and solve this silly problem without having to take it to a g-smith. Thanks!

Ace hardware sells very small screws.

You'll never find a screw that's cut to the .01 or .02 in different lengths that you need.

Take a long screw and work it down until it's what you need.

If you can't shorten the screws, take it to a Gunsmith.
