It was only a matter of time before the Heller decision has impact on my clients...lol.

Client was arrested in 1972 on Carrying Pistol w/o a License, DC Code 22-3204. I need to find out whether the Heller decision strikes down all those old laws. Any help would be appreciated ;) And yes, I will be consulting a DC gun law lawyer on this as well. I just need a general idea here.
    Thanks!

I think it only affects ownership. Right to carry is another matter, just like here in the SSMD. That's my take.

How many times has someone tried to change the carry laws with the 2A right to keep and *BEAR* arms? I wonder.

FYI, this site answered a lot of my questions :)

    http://www.dcguncase.com

I thought I'd throw that out there for others trying to find something similar. The Heller case only throws out DC Code Section 7-2502.02(a)(4), 22-4504(a) and 7-2507.02. 22-4504(a) is the new version of 22-3204, so it looks like I'm in luck :)
