That is a beautiful 686. The Single-Six looks a lot like my Blackhawk.

thank you sir, she shoots GREAT, one of my favorite guns to shoot, very easy to manage 357 magnums out of the heavy frame

yeah it looks damn near identical to your blackhawk, I can shoot that thing all day, if your blackhawk is anything like it, it's a dream to shoot

I actually just picked up another revolver today, S&W 442, from Scott's Gunsmithing, I'll have to take a couple pics, stand by

    Thanks, J.

I could never make up my mind what barrel length I liked best when it comes to SAA's. 4.75, 5.5, or 7.5.

The 7.5 looks a little long, but I appreciate the longer sight radius. It's also the original length of the M1873. But that longer barrel also weighs a little more so it transitions a little slower from target to target. And it takes a bit longer to clear a holster.

The 4.75 looks pretty cool and it's handy. Probably the fastest "gunfighter" of the three. But the sight radius is a bit shorter. Not a big deal really.

The 5.5" barrel looks awesome, and it might be the best of both worlds. Balances pretty well too.

Truth be told though, if I hadn't seen this sitting in a local gun store and been mesmerized by it I'd probably still be on the fence trying to decide which length to look for. :D
Now I just need a 4" revolver so I can start shooting PPC revolver. Been wanting one for long time anyway.

My first wheelgun. S&W Model 13. Looks like it's been beat to hell, but I kind of like that. Still smooth as butter though. Judging by the way the finish has worn(LOTS of holster wear), I'm thinking it was maybe a cop gun, but I have no way of knowing. I'll probably replace the grips with wood ones, but I'm not sure if I'll get it reblued. It has character IMO.

Note: shineyness where the barrel meets the frame is from the camera...It's mostly worn on the front edges of the cylinder, barrel, and along the top.

I am going to try to post my humble collection of mostly reproductions. Hope it works. Computers, cameras and I don't get along to well, as you will see.
I still prefer using smoke signals:innocent0

    Skip-a-long

Are you called Skip-a-long because you have a bionic foot? Looks like it.

My two lonely revolvers. Matching 1873 Cattleman.

Those two are stunning as a are a lot of the SSA types here.
