Interesting
Just the ceremony has been cancelled. Doesn't say anything about the governor not signing any additional Bills.
Dan, do you know what the cut-off date (if any) is for signing/veto'ing, before it becomes law with no action by Hogan?
What does Snowden say?
'This court agrees that G&S is whatever the board thinks it is'. Much of this thinking is based on apprehended danger in excess of the community at large. A citizen board is representative of the community. The OAH is not , the OAH represents state interests.
What does scherr say?
'See Snowden'
No board, no thinking whatever.
Could mean anything. It could mean he canceled the bill signing to focus the news on what is is vetoing. He is reportedly vetoing 6-8 bills.
Really? Who gave him permission to do that?
permission to do what?
So one of the 6-8 bills Hogan was considering vetoing, he is letting pass without approval: bill mandating 50% renewables. Get ready for sky high taxes and electricity bills by 2030.

Starting in 2022, the state drug board would review the prices for certain prescription drugs that are paid for by insurance plans for local and state government workers, and set an upper payment limit.
The drug board would be allowed to review drugs that: are new brand-name drugs that cost at least $30,000 per year, existing brand-name drugs with price increases of at least $3,000 per year, existing generic drugs with price increases of at least 200% per year and any drug that creates “affordability challenges.”
“We’ve got a national model here,” declared Vinny DeMarco, a public-health advocate and lobbyist who was the bill’s chief proponent in Annapolis.
Yeah there is a drug price bill:

I dont know if hell let it become law, but this should tell you all you need to know about the bill:
Vinny DeMarco! The architect of many **** ups in MD!!

Based on this article, the board only applies to "
public-sector insurers serving city, county, and state government employees."
price controls means newer treatments for things like cancer wont be available to state employees. So in guess state employees will die early.
Several of the local Delegates sent letter to the Govenor to veto. Thank Del. Wayne Hartman for writing it!
It's not going to matter. Few years back the Supreme Court shot down a very similar law because they claimed it would require all 50 states to adopt Maryland's model. This one I'm sure we'll be shot down as well
