No, not Dimocrap and definitely not a socialist. Those groups vote.
You sir, are simply bad at math.
It's true. I've always been bad at math.

I don't disagree there are liberals moving to NC. What I'm saying is recent trends show more people moving from Republican states to NC than people from Democratic states. Also rich liberal folks tend to have fewer kids, and rural conservative folks tend to have a lot more. NC has very large conservative rural and suburban areas, without having a massive populous Democratic city such as DC.
If you look at the Presidential election results since 2004, NC has gotten more Republican each year, except for 2008.
It's always possible a state can flip, but NC doesn't have many of the things that caused Virginia to go total blue.
I agree completely. We all know the Trump is wholly to blame for all the ills that drove liberals to VA. MS13 in MoCo, Columbia being more like PG county than ever, Baltimore's murder rate, sanctuary policies, the urban sprawl up I270, Maryland's high cost of living, business unfriendly policies, stupid govt policies, the decline in schools, and HoCo busing.Seems amazing to me that people will blame everything and everybody except for Trump.
Scared of politicians? Clarify please. I sincerely doubt anyone on this forum is scared of any politician. It's their actions that bothers me and I only see it getting worse everywhere. This is not about what's best for the country. It's about power and control. Say what you want but right now the dems seem to have a game plan that is more effective.
I just have one simple observation; voter turn out. The percentage of Republicans voting this time around was low, and yes it is an "off year" election, but come on guys! Get get out and vote! To the 80% (or something like that) who did not vote, you pretty much have asked for the Red Flag laws and bans that are to follow.
Well, some of us have no intention of voting for either Trump (again) or the party that has indeed swung leftwards into an embrace of socialism as the central thesis for their vision of governance. Period. Some of us have simply...had enough of the BS and want no further part of it, yet, we'll be labeled as 'socialists' and 'dimocraps' here (anyway) simply because of that.
But kindly point to where any of us have said, "Don't vote for Trump! Vote Democrat!" because you won't find it no matter how deep you dig and in the end, all that you have is fear as a motivator. Sorry, it's not a good enough reason this time for me to drag my ass to the polls and pull the lever for four more years of this toxic shitshow.
Well, I'm flattered you think I'm THAT influential over the average MDS Member. I tend to disagree.
I'll have to wait to see who the RNC is going to put up when Trump is removed or resigns. Until then I won't be able to commit to a candidate I can support.
Apologies for missing that question. I don't recall it ever being asked.
Truth is, I no longer care. I really don't. Politics has degenerated into a form of cheap entertainment for folks who enjoy all the breathless melodrama of a bad soap opera and want to be a part of it. Politics is a convenient and BS-excuse for certain members of this group to ignore, unfriend and otherwise declare 'enemies' because they don't happen share exactly the same F'd-up view of the world so, in lieu of further fanning the flames of derision, I'll answer by saying, "None Of The Above" for now. The election is still a year away. Can I get back to you on that? Or, are you demanding my oath of loyalty to Trump right now? Thanks in advance.
You haven't mentioned who will run in place of Trump and if they CAN win, is that not one of the possibilities?
I say "here" because it's been an echo chamber lately.
Nancy Pelosi smiles. Mission accomplished!

Don't get me wrong , the Electoral College is a fine thing, and fundamental to our Country .
That said , most of us live and vote in Maryland, where there hasn't been a competitive Presidential Election since 1988 , and likely never will again .
