And one just arrived in the shop, and what a beauty! By replacing the enclosed spring, you can shift from .357 Magnum to .38 Special. Comes with two magazines and priced at $1651.

Definitely a pretty 1911. Saw it this morning, refused to hold it or even touch it. Was there picking up my Vickers Glock FDE & Sig P320 FDE. Both of those were a result of picking them up & holding them 2 weeks ago. Don’t “need” this thing.........yet. I recommend taking a look at it though, very nice.

I want one, but that is just too much.

    It comes with two...

Just kidding. I know the pistol is expensive. I bought one. Takes a while to break the spring in. Helps to use hot ammo to start. However, it's fun. A lot of fun.

Dan has me hooked. Mainlining high end 1911s. My wallet is crying but this seems cheap now (at least in comparison-still a lot of money).

Working in this store requires restraint! This pistol is a work of art, and interesting to be chambered as a 357M. As I recall, Dan Coonan developed the Desert Eagle (I THINK I have my facts right). Its at least worth the trip to come look at it.

I would just have to not even take a check and just keep a (negative) balance with Dan.

I hear ya on the restraint. That’s why I didn’t want you to hand it to me yesterday morning. That didn’t stop me from Google and You Tube-ing it all last evening. Damn it. Restraint. Restraint...........

Desert Eagle and LAR Grizzly Mark I are two other "mainstream" .357 Magnum pistols.
Probably some custom stuff out there.
