I cannot find a definitive answer so far. I have a trust, live in Md. I keep hearing a trust can be used to buy Class 3 items outside the state directly. Is this true or must it be transferred to a Md Class dealer?

    Where do you hear that?
I've never seen anything on this site or on any of the online gun trusts and gun lawyers claiming that.

Must be transfered to instate dealer. That will add time to the purchase. You're better off buying instate if you can find what you want.

Indeed. Form 3's look like 40 days right now. Plus transfer fee at pickup. I try to buy local but local for this stuff for me is 90 min usually.
