When I feel like packing light...

My second favorite gun during rifle season. A S&W 686 .357 Mag with an 8 3/8 barrel. I use 180gr bear loads ( not pictured here) for deer in the thick stuff from a natural ground blind. It’s an effective application.

Thanks! Thought I might do both.

Picked up the 460 this week . Need to ditch the red dot and put a scope on that monster! Any recommendations on a silver scope?

So I did the final fit and finish (hand rubbed on Tru Oil). Turned out fantastic.

The guns are also customized by their previous owner (a late family friend). Fully tuned, matte finish on the barrels and cylinder frames, left the cylinders and grip frames bright, and jeweled the triggers and hammers.

A couple of months ago, at the Howard County Gun Show, I saw this out of the corner of my eye and thought, "something just looks odd about that Redhawk..."

When I realized what it actually was, and that I'd never seen one like it before, I figured it had to come home with me a week later.

Anybody see what's odd about it?
