    Basically, yeah.

“Gun safety” replaced “gun control” several years ago, to not appear as onerous to moderates, as well as virtue signaling for the antis. “Who isn’t for gun safety?!” Clearly the nut jobs!

"Gun safety". That is hysterical. Maybe we should do a group buy on Everytown or Mom's Demand chamber flags!.

Lobbyists work under very specific rules. I would think most of the disclosures would be public information.
The biggest question I have is who is paying the lobbyist.

The shift from calling themselves "gun control" to "gun safety" was part of Bloomberg's and other gun control lobby changing most of their fundraising from 501c4 (not deductible) to the vast majority of it now being (c)3 deductible.

The only thing these lobby fronts do is lobby. It has become a way to pump $100 million a year into partisan legislative adovacy work as "charity" work.
By contrast only about 10% of NRA's fundraising and spending is charitable

Yep, Marylanders to Prevent Guns (aka MPGV, the V is silent, they only want to Prevent the G) have had court stenographers at many if not most of the HPRB meetings. They are the direct conduit back to the anti sponsors of these bills.
