    Sar3 is consider an ak74, not an ak47. You're good to go in Maryland.

    Hmm, they would have to send the gun to an out of state FFL.

    Fed law says sale has to be legal in the state the transaction takes place and the state of residence of the buyer.

    So they cannot sell and transfer a banned gun to anyone, except another FFL.
