Springfield Saint Edge Evac availability

I just saw an ad for the upcoming Springfield Saint Edge Evac and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about if this would ever pass muster to be sold in Maryland. Basically it is a 5.56 pistol with folding brace and removable barrel as a kind of takedown keep in bag pistol.

Sure, it might pass. There's other AR pistols on the roster.

Building one yourself is also an option. Most of those parts (or similar ones) are available elsewhere.

Yup, Springfield bought that, they did not invent it.

It's the "Dolos takedown system" from Pantheon.

I can’t believe they don’t offer the saint rifle in a heavy barrel. It would totally fit into the market they are trying to cover.
