Hey guys. If I wanted to buy a rifle that is 50 years old could I have it sent straight to me since I have a C&R license? It would be a lever rifle. Thanks

If you can get the seller to send it to you because some, including FFL01s, will refuse to. Check this upfront, especially if this is an auction.

And, if the USPS follow their own rules, if you are using them. Some people have had issues with that in the past.

I used to email sellers about whether they'd accept my C&R. On the advice of someone here, I've taken to merely sending a copy of my license along with a USPS MO. No problems so far, though I do the due diligence to make sure the item in a valid C&R purchase first.

    Like they say, money talks.
