    It has really been a good month for me and Mausers. The first is a 1916 Spandau Gewehr 98 and the second is a 1922 Carl Gustafs target model.

    Man you guys keep tempting me to put a toe back into the Mauser pool with beauties like these. Like I don't have enough room in the Mawkie Vault as it is!

    Probably the 1922 Swedish Mauser or my 1889 Schmidt Rubin. The 1916 Spandau Mauser has the lowest sight setting at 400 yards! It shoots at lease a foot high at 100 yards. I've ordered a taller front sight from Brownells, so once that gets here and I get it put on, I'll see how this old girl shoots. Are you shooting this month?

    I'm sure hoping to be shooting this month. I'm being super careful (yes, I am a klutz). :sad20: I have enough special loaded ammo for Pillsbury for the match. Also, I have a new sling (maybe someone can show me how to install it). I'm definitely looking forward to it. :party29:
