I've added a full frame Glock to my small inventory as an open carry sidearm. I have a standard flap mil holster on my battle belt. I'm looking at the Safari nylon holster. http://www.safariland.com/products/holsters-and-gear/holsters/concealable-holsters/belt-slide/model-7377-7ts-als--concealment-belt-slide-holster-34850.html#start=1

It says "concealment" but I really don't think so.

I'm likely going to add an Inforce 400 lumen light. Sometimes zombies are in the dark.

So I'm really asking for holster recommendations.

I like a Serpa paddle holster for open carry.
It's very stable and I like the option to easily take it off if needed. Like driving, etc...

Best thing I like about it is that wide "paddle" and the 2 grip hook thingies that clamp under the belt work super well. Most stable paddle I have ever used.

yes that paddle attachment is great. def ain't coming out/off unless you want it to. and yet not too hard to remove it when/if you want to.

Practice holstering and unholstering your empty gun. It took a bit of practice to get the movement to be natural and second nature for me.

I am not LE like some posters, but I have been around a while and have had some training on holsters, weapon retention, etc.

My advice would be to get a Safariland ALS belt holster for your gun model.

It is rigid, has an active retention system with fewer risks than the Serpa design, plus it’s attached to your belt with loops that are not going to be slipping off during a fight.

I would recommend a weapons retention class for anyone thinking of OC - or any carry for that matter. After taking the class you might see where I am coming from.

Google can get you some info on the Serpa risks, and on open carry gun grabs. Decide what system is best for you and your situation.

ETA: that 6377 holster in your link is spot on.
