Got the chance to try one out today. Pretty impressive for a $250.00 gun.
9mm and holds 13 rds. and very concealable. Taurus name aside not bad at all.
    Anyone try one out?

My EDC for about a year now... Taurus PT111 Millennium G2... basically the same gun. Yes,I like it... aside from the Taurus reputation... Smoothed out the mating surfaces a bit. Slick as snot... Tucks well IWB, however, I choose a Tagua thumbsnap duty holster to keep it secure in the event of a spill on 2 wheels(God forbid)... cheap enough that in the event I have to relinquish it to LE... I'm not sweating over their care and handling of same. Just my .02... YMMV.

My buddy just purchased one two weeks ago and fell in love with it. I haven’t shot it but he says it shoots nice, especially for the price, excited to check it out myself.

I just got the Taurus G2S from Zink Arms. Was going back and forth between the G2C and G2S and decided to to with the “slim”, single stack (7 round) mag version. Both felt pretty good in my hand but Zink was selling the G2S for under 200.

Get to pick it up on Friday and hopefully take it out to see how it shoots

    Just curious....Why the G2S vs G2C?

My 80-year-old father recently acquired a G2C. He was originally expecting to be in the Glock camp, but found that the Glock didn't fit his hands well. He put his paws on most of the display models in his LGS, and was surprised at how much he liked the feel of the G2C. He took the Flalala CC class, and somehow convinced my mother (the not-a-gun-person) to take it as well. She has G2C range-time under her belt; I have photographic evidence.

I have shot it, and so has MM Jr. It's pretty low recoil, and is comfy in my hands as well. Jr. shot well with it, so it's appropriate for youth-sized hands (he commented that he didn't like he G17 grip - too much like holding a 2x4.)

It's affordable and seems pretty well made. I might get one. Maybe. And I won't fret when it goes in the Chesapeake in yet another tragic canoeing accident. I swear I have the worst luck with boats 'n guns. Every. Single. Time. Dammit.

I have been happy with mine. I got it back in September. All in all a decent gun, seems to shoot to the right no matter what I do with the sight. I have only fired a few hundred rounds through it. Have to make some time to shoot and get it shooting straighter.

I just wanted a pistol that was slim but still felt comfortable in my hand. I looked at the PT709 a few years ago and did not like the way the pistol looked and felt. I’m also a fan of the single stack magazine for some reason, no real explanation, just like it better. Lastly, the price point...I mean, for under $200 what can you buy? A Hi-Point 9mm?

There really isn’t that much difference between the two other than the slightly slimmer grip on the G2S and the 10 or 12 round mag on the G2C vs. 7 with the G2S. Other than that, same size slide, barrel, and features.

New they were close in size and can swap barrels
Just wasn't sure on the width difference since I have not held the s. I like ot it's a neat affordable shooter.

You know that's not a sight issue, right?
